Covid-19 Literature Reviews website is a partnership that includes:
- Population Health Research Domain (PopHealth) at the Life and Health Sciences Research Institute (ICVS) at the School of Medicine of the University of Minho, Portugal.
PopHealth’s research is supported by a multidisciplinary team with expertise in psychology, educational sciences, nutrition, epidemiology, immunology, endocrinology, digital medicine, statistics, mathematical modelling and economics. These researchers work in close cooperation with other ICVS Research Domains, the School of Medicine, affiliated healthcare providers and the Clinical Academic Center. The PopHealth Research Domain aims to generate knowledge and tools (educational, informatics, technological) that health authorities and stakeholders may use to improve health-related policies.
The Institute for Evidence-Based Health (ISBE) takes on the mission of contributing to knowledge through the production of quality evidence, in a cross-sectoral way, presenting solutions to concrete health problems and thus contributing to the necessary transition of health systems, particularly in Portugal. Cochrane Portugal represents the Iberoamerican Cochrane Centre and acts as a point of contact for Cochrane in Portugal. Our mission is to promote the conduct and dissemination of Cochrane Reviews and to collaborate with national stakeholders, such as health professionals, health researchers, consumer associations and government bodies. Cochrane Portugal also seeks to establish partnerships with Portuguese speaking countries like Brazil, Angola, Mozambique, Cabo Verde, etc..
